2026 Team Building Camp
This summer the Cambridge Isanti Varsity Football team has the unique opportunity to participate in a 3 day Team Building camp. The camp will be held at the beautiful Bluewater Campground in Grand Rapids, MN. This is a wonderful occasion to come together as a team as summer begins. While this is an optional activity, we STRONGLY encourage all varsity players to attend. This will be a time of making lifetime memories, and it is exactly what we need to kick off our summer commitment. Camp will take place on the first weekend of summer vacation: June 19-21. The bus will depart @ 2:00pm Friday afternoon, and we will be home between 3-4pm on Sunday.
This is NOT a camp that emphasizes football scheme or technique. As you can see, we have a lot of that built into our summer calendar. Our goal for this weekend is to return home as a unified and committed team. The focus is to train character and teamwork. There will be no football practices or scrimmages held at Bluewater Camp. The time away will consist of team building activities, fellowship, lots of food, and fun! The cost for this camp is $200. This includes 6 meals, transportation to and from Grand Rapids, and 2 nights lodging.
While at the camp, the boys will be under my, Coach Geisler’s, supervision, along with adult assistant coaches. There will be important information to follow as we get closer to our departure date. The Medical & Insurance waiver forms will need to be returned with full payment by June 4th (Last day of school). Please feel free to call me with any questions @ 651-734-5386.

Student Athletes will be expected to be an excellent representative of Cambridge Isanti High School, following these rules as well as performing with the best of sportsmanship. Your student should always display leadership skills and respect for all adults and fellow players in competition. If any of these, or the camp rules are broken, along with other rules found in the student handbook, the player can be removed from competition by the coaches and will remain out of the competition for a time determined by the coach depending on the severity of the offense. Rules and guidelines as stated in the Cambridge Isanti High School student handbook will be in effect. This is a school sanctioned activity and all the rules enforced at school will be enforced at football camp as well. In extreme cases, the parent may be called and asked to come and pick up their child at the expense of the parent.
